Job Description

Your Journey as an Advanced Equipment Specialist Starts Here

Step into the challenging world of an Advanced Equipment Specialist where precision and technical skill merge to maintain and enhance the performance of sophisticated machinery. As a maestro in this field, you'll orchestrate maintenance, design, and troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring seamless production flow.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform advanced maintenance and repair on a variety of machines, utilizing predictive technologies and interpreting diagnostic results for enhanced reliability.
  • A master troubleshooter, you'll dive into complex control systems to resolve intricate configuration issues.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using industry-standard methodologies and innovative solutions to cut costs and enhance efficiency.
  • Source parts and components, proffering engineered alternatives for optimal machine performance.
  • Engage with state-of-the-art machining and metalworking tools, synthesizing new parts or engaging in precision welding as needed.
  • Investigate and implement groundbreaking maintenance practices across sites, contributing to a forward-thinking workplace.
  • Guide cost analysis for equipment investments and be the technical voice in sales quotations.
  • Guide and develop fellow technicians, acting as a project manager and visionary leader.
  • Pursue continuous learning through on-the-job training and self-directed study, enhancing your career trajectory.
  • Champion safety, embedded in your every action — from identifying potential hazards to adhering to company policies.

Who You Are:

  • A high school graduate or GED holder with an Associate's degree preferred, paired with 7+ years of industry expertise.
  • An analytic problem solver with prowess in fluid power, control systems, and predictive technologies.
  • Skilled with tools, from basic hand varieties to specialized instruments.
  • Possessing Six Sigma certification is a bonus, not a requirement.
  • Prepared and willing to travel as duties demand.

Physical and Work Environment:

Your role demands physical agility and strength, operating in diverse conditions from factory floors to external environments. Exposure to noise, potential hazards, and electrical risk is part of the job; however, your hands-on skills and situational awareness will drive success and safety.

Proficiencies Include:

  • Devising preventive maintenance schemas
  • Repairing heavy machinery
  • Conducting mechanical troubleshooting
  • Mastering high-voltage systems
  • Exhibiting commercial electrical expertise

Embark on a career where expertise meets innovation. Join us on this exciting journey!
