Family owned and operated, The Coffee Tree Roasters has been a Pittsburgh favorite for 26 years. We are seeking hard working, enthusiastic individuals to fill our part-time and full time barista positions at our Fox Chapel location. Must have flexible hours! Weekend availability required!

We are currently only hiring baristas who will be available through the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays!

Essential Functions:

• Provide excellent customer service in a timely fashion
• Prepare and serve drinks and food in accordance with health code and Coffee Tree standards
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Restocking food and retail displays

Basic Qualifications:

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Meet all policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security
• Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication
• Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to build relationships
• Ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced work environment
