W3Global Client is seeking a talented
CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and cross-functional teams to design and support a wide range of
civil engineering projects -including large-scale land development, infrastructure, transportation, and municipal utilities.
We're looking for a driven professional who thrives in a
fast-paced, self-directed environment and is eager to grow into a larger role within our firm.
What You'll Do - Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and project team members to ensure design accuracy.
- Prepare and review layouts, drawings, and blueprints.
- Update and maintain design documentation and records.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide input during project meetings and contribute to design solutions.
- Assist in troubleshooting design issues and recommending improvements.
What We're Looking For - Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar CAD software.
- 4+ years of CAD design experience in civil engineering (or equivalent educational experience).
- Strong understanding of design principles and engineering fundamentals.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and multitasking ability.
- A growth mindset and eagerness to learn in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
Physical Requirements - Extended periods of desk/computer work.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
- Comfort with physical activity such as squatting, bending, or lifting when setting up project activities.
