The Manager of Cash and Banking will support Aramark’s Global Business Services (GBS) by overseeing key daily operations within the Cash & Banking accounting team. Reporting to the Director of Cash and Banking, this position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of cash-related transactions, supporting internal and external financial reporting requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the department. The manager will lead a team of supervisors and analysts across GBS and other business units to support organizational financial objectives.
• Manage day-to-day operations within the Cash & Banking function to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions and adherence to internal controls.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of professionals, ensuring high performance and engagement.
• Ensure team compliance with company accounting policies, SOX requirements, and financial procedures.
• Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership to improve efficiency and control within cash operations.
• Identify, lead, and support process improvement initiatives to enhance automation, scalability, and accuracy in banking and cash processes.
• Collaborate with internal departments including Treasury, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Accounting to resolve issues and streamline processes.
• Assist in preparing internal and external audit documentation and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Help foster a culture of compliance, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Director.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required; however, significant relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• MBA a plus
• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in shared services center environments required.
• Solid understanding of SOX requirements required.
• Solid understanding of financial processes required.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
