We are seeking a visionary Chief People Officer (CPO) to lead our people strategy, shape our culture, structure, and talent to drive sustainable success and growth. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how we attract, retain, and develop world-class talent while ensuring our people and culture aligns with business growth. This role will be a key consultative partner to leaders throughout the company and will oversee the company’s human capital talent development structure, including talent acquisition, HR, the professional development of in-house talent, and furthering of diversity initiatives. This position is on-site in Miamisburg, Ohio. Key Responsibilities Organizational Design & Strategy: Lead and optimize the company’s structure to support business growth, scalability, and operational excellence. Compensation & Total Rewards: Design and implement a competitive and equitable compensation strategy, including salary structures, incentives, and benefits, to attract and retain top talent. Leadership Development: Cultivate a high-performance leadership team, ensuring executives and managers are equipped to inspire, coach, and drive business results. People & Culture Growth: Build a thriving, inclusive, and high-performing culture that aligns with our business values and goals. Develop communication platforms, best practices and training to create an environment where quick and efficient communication is the norm. Talent Strategy: Develop and execute workforce planning, succession planning, and retention strategies to support company growth. Talent Acquisition: Lead the talent acquisition function throughout the company, including developing a comprehensive human capital strategic plan, including specific tactics around hiring, development, retention, and diversity/inclusion. HR Innovation & Operational Excellence: Leverage data-driven insights to improve people operations, drive efficiency, and enhance employee experience. Analyze current human resources and people programs and systems to identify problems and implement innovative solutions. Compliance & Employee Relations: Provide strategic guidance in other HR areas of policy development, legal compliance, employee relations, and employee communications. Strategic Leadership: Identify future challenges the talent team should anticipate and think creatively about how to best equip the team to address these challenges, which will include changes in the competitive landscape. Financial Responsibility: Accountability for the overall talent budget which includes recruitment across all functions, professional development, HR, and diversity and inclusion. Minimum Qualifications: 8+ years Human Resources or Talent Acquisition senior leadership experience, ideally leading teams and programs in a growth/change oriented and mission-driven environment. Proficiency in talent management/ATS systems and HR related systems. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all levels of the organization. Have an insatiable curiosity and, as a lifelong learner, be energized by the opportunity to develop an understanding of a new industry. Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, and new developments. Be an innovator. When facing a challenge, is able to think of creative ways to tackle the problem. Is equally likely to take a tried and true approach as much as test out something entirely new, depending on what best suits the situation. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and adjust based upon the changing needs of the organization. Be data-driven and able to source, synthesize, and translate disparate forms of data into strategic, actionable insights. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with or for a private equity/venture capital firm. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
