Site Superintendent - Wappingers Falls, NY
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Superintendent to lead and manage construction projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
Position Overview
As Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations at multiple construction sites, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency throughout each phase of the project. You'll work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless execution and successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day construction activities across job sites, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
Develop and implement site logistics plans to optimize workflow and minimize disruptions.
Build strong working relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
Lead pre-construction meetings and coordinate project documentation including RFIs, CCDs, bulletins, and addendums.
Oversee task coding of work hours, equipment usage, and material deliveries.
Conduct on-site safety orientations and enforce company safety standards.
Supervise and support site teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
Collaborate with the Project Manager to maintain and update project schedules.
Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Monitor budgets, track costs, and ensure timely submission of invoices.
Coordinate inspections, procure blueprints, and manage all phases of construction including remodels, rebuilds, and ground-up projects.
Review subcontractor safety manuals and perform erosion control inspections.
Coordinate third-party testing agencies as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction supervision with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, and Excel.
OSHA 30-Hour certification, Fall Protection Training, and other relevant safety credentials.
Background in commercial, educational, recreational, and retail construction projects.
Familiarity with Autodesk software is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
