Coordinator, Special Events & Corporate Partnerships Under the direction of the Chief Development Officer, the Coordinator, Special Events and Corporate Partnerships will oversee the Chapter’s major fundraising events and corporate sponsorships. In this role, they will work closely with the Development Team in building a sustainable and comprehensive event and corporate partnership plan. They will also serve as the main point of contact for third-party events. Key Responsibilities Manage the major fundraising events for the Chapter and Connecticut House and work closely with the team in Springfield on the execution of events in that area. Coordinate and actively participate in corporate sponsor acquisition, cultivation, and stewardship with a focus on the Connecticut market. Collaborate and recruit volunteer committees in planning and executing fundraising events. Work closely with the Development Team to align efforts to increase revenue. Plan, in coordination with the Marketing Team, the development and distribution of event communications. Track fundraising revenue, expenses, participants, and in-kind donations. Cultivate and support all community third-party events. Strive to keep event fundraising expenses less than 30% of event revenue. Assist in event tracking in Raiser’s Edge constituent database.
