**Job Summary:**
We are looking for a detail-oriented CPC Certified Medical Coder to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing medical documentation, assigning appropriate codes, and ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.

**Qualifications:**
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required or equivelent
- One year preferred experience working as a medical coder
- In-depth knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding systems
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Strong understanding of medical billing practices and regulations
- Proficiency in using coding software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy

**Responsibilities:**
- Review medical records and assign appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes
- Ensure accurate coding for patient diagnoses, procedures, and services
- Follow coding guidelines and regulatory requirements to maintain compliance
- Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and coding issues
- Collaborate with billing and reimbursement staff to resolve coding-related denials or discrepancies
- Stay updated on changes in coding regulations and guidelines
- Participate in coding audits and quality improvement initiatives within the organization
