About The Job

Louis Vuitton is seeking a Creative Services- Project Manager to join our team based in New York City office. In this role, you will oversee logistics, production, and on-site execution for all creative services designs within Louis Vuitton Americas. You will properly bid out projects to multiple suppliers across countries to ensure proper cost savings without compromising on quality. Additionally, this manager will travel to oversee all installs (with partnership of the local team) and manage vendors on site to ensure proper execution of the vision provided by the Director of Creative Services. The creative services project manager will have an extensive background in production of large-scale events which includes materials management, negotiation, lighting design and building/fire code to ensure proper buildouts.

Job responsibilities

Production

  • Manage production on site including load in and build outs
  • Develop a multi-tiered budget based on Creative Services Design
  • Negotiate and bid out assets and elements needed for a particular design
  • Provide alternatives on proposed materials for CS projects
  • Ensure proper lighting has been designed, ordered, and executed for each production
  • Ensure local and building codes are met for every buildout regardless of country and location
  • Prepare all aspects of Production:
    • Proper detailed production timeline
    • List of vendors and contacts as well as backups
    • Coordinate shipping/freight and customs clearance
    • Help in visually preparing the event before it goes live
    • Assist in the event whenever appropriate
    • Ensure that feedback report is filled and available for department
  • Track and report the success of each production in coordination with Client Relations Team
  • Partner with VM, Merch and Client Relations team to manage individual budgets
  • Work with creative services designer to ensure proper materials usage in renderings

Profile

We are excited to speak to individuals with 5+ years of experience in large-scale event production. The ideal applicant must be willing and able to travel over 50% and have flexible availability. This leader will be proficient in building codes, space management (including various measurement systems), and possess strong interpersonal skills. Must possess a background in design and materials management, and the ability to negotiate vendor costs effectively. Proficiency in lighting design, strong computer skills (including Microsoft Office suite), and excellent communication abilities at all levels of the business essential. This transversal expert will be detail-oriented, organized, capable of prioritizing multiple projects, and able to make independent decisions under tight deadlines. Knowledge of SKP and RHINO is preferred. Spanish language proficiency is required.

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary range within USD $115,000 to $125,000, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.
