About REBNY:

The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) is a not-for-profit trade association that works to protect, improve, and advance the business of real estate in New York City. REBNY has over 15K members and a staff of 50 people, led by an executive team that reports to REBNY’s Board of Governors, which is comprised of the leaders of the New York real estate industry.

Director of Business Development

REBNY seeks a strategic leader to drive engagement, lead product sales, and strengthen relationships in NYC’s residential real estate market. This role will enhance REBNY’s services, events, and offerings through cross-department collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate partnerships with brokerage firms, owners, and managers
• Represent REBNY through in-person and online engagement
• Lead presentations, product demos, and outreach efforts
• Guide select industry committees and initiatives
• Execute major events, including Residential Deal of the Year
• Manage vendor and partner contracts
• Support RLS product launches and member adoption
• Collaborate on policy updates and advocacy efforts
• Track and meet strategic goals, milestones, and metrics

Qualifications:

• 10+ years’ experience, ideally in NYC residential real estate
• Deep industry and technology knowledge
• Strong leadership, public speaking, and relationship skills
• Proven success in project management and cross-functional work
• Strategic, organized, and results-oriented
