**Job Title: Document Control Specialist**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee our warehousing, document scanning, and quality assurance operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process optimization, inventory management, team leadership, and digitization processes. This role requires innovative thinking to enhance operational efficiency, ensure high-quality standards, and drive continuous improvement.
**Responsibilities**
+ Develop and implement efficient processes for document scanning, indexing, storage, and warehousing operations.
+ Oversee the receipt, organization, and tracking of physical documents and materials, ensuring seamless integration with digitization processes.
+ Lead document scanning, QA specialists, and warehouse staff, providing guidance and subject matter expertise.
+ Establish and enforce quality control processes to maintain high standards in document preparation, scanning, indexing, and capture.
+ Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase productivity, reduce errors, and enhance overall efficiency.
+ Employ innovative thinking to stay ahead of changing operational needs and technological advancements.
+ Demonstrate experience in setting up operations from inception and scaling them effectively.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of experience in document scanning, inventory management, warehousing, or a related field.
+ Strong leadership skills and ability to perform in a start-up environment.
+ Proven track record of creating efficiencies and improving processes in a similar operation.
+ Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and experience in implementing quality control processes.
+ Proficiency in document scanning software, inventory management systems, Microsoft Office, and warehousing management systems.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
+ Proficiency in English.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with data entry, scanning, clerical, inventory, logistics, and administrative support.
+ Skills in sorting, scanning paper, general labor, material handling, forklift operation, office support, and customer service.
**Work Environment**
The work environment includes positions such as 1 lead, 1 cutter (machine operator), 1 person for barcoding, 1 for printing labels, 1 runner for general labor, 2 scanners with document scanning experience, 2 QA specialists, 1 person in the backroom, and 2 people in the warehouse handling materials. Safety shoes are required. Breakfast, lunch, and drinks are provided.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a **Contract** position based out of Fremont, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
