Overview :
We are looking for a detail-oriented, credentialed tax professional (EA or CPA) to prepare individual, small business, and self-employed tax returns. The ideal candidate will have experience in tax preparation, a strong understanding of tax regulations, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and file federal and state income tax returns for individuals, small businesses, and self-employed clients, ensuring full compliance with regulations.
Prepare and review individual and business tax returns for accuracy and completeness.
Research and resolve tax-related questions or issues.
Assist with data collection and organization for tax planning and compliance.
Stay updated on tax law changes to ensure accurate reporting.
Communicate with clients to collect documentation and explain tax matters.
Most appointments are in the office (face-to-face) with clients.
Key Skills :
Expertise in individual and business tax preparation.
Proficiency with tax software (TaxWise experience is a plus).
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain tax-related matters clearly.
Knowledge of current tax regulations and best practices.
Certifications :
Preferred: Enrolled Agent (EA), CPA, or actively pursuing CPA certification.
