Description:

The Hot Melt Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining hot melt adhesive application equipment, ensuring quality and efficiency in production processes. Their role will be key to ensuring that products meet the quality and safety standards established by the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate hot melt application machines according to established procedures.
• Adjust temperature, pressure, and flow parameters to ensure proper adhesive application.
• Clean and ensure machines are in optimal working condition.
• Maintain order in the workspace, ensuring compliance with 5S standards.
• · Verify that products meet quality standards during the production process.
• · Report any irregularities or defects in the product or equipment.
• · Follow safety protocols for handling materials and equipment.
• · Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
• · Record production data in SFOL.
• · Adhere to filling out work logs, shift handover, and reception reports.
• · Work in coordination with the production team to achieve established goals.
• · Support other production areas as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

• Basic knowledge of loom operation (desirable but not essential).
• Handling of tools and measuring equipment (desirable but not essential).).
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Read, write and possess basic math skills.
• Good Mechanical aptitude and experience
• Prior manufacturing experience a plus
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and as a team.
• Attention to detail and quality orientation.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts.
