Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• High dusting and detailing all the high areas of the guestroom.
• Clean and detail wall mounted and ceiling mounted lights.
• Detailed cleaning of window areas including removing and maintain cleanliness of drapes and sheers.
• Vacuum the PTAC unit grates.
• Service, inspect bed(s), remove linens and clean area under and around bed.
• Wash walls, baseboards and doors.
• Detail cleaning of all guestroom furniture.
• Inspect and replace any worn or missing room collateral
• Repair surfaces, furnishings, and equipment.
• Scrub floor tile and grout.
• Deep clean tub, toilet and sink areas of bathroom.
• Edging and cleaning carpets.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Basic Maintenance skills with concerns to plumbing, carpentry, electrical and painting.
• May assist in removal and disposal of old equipment and trash in the shop
• May perform general maintenance duties to ensure a clean and safe facility
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times
• Ensures the correct parts/materials are pulled for work orders
• Signs out parts and equipment
• Must be physically able to lift, load and un-load materials
• Must be able to stand, bend and walk frequently
• Must be able to lift, carry and move materials or heavy objects up to 100+ lbs.
• Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building equipment on a scheduled basis
• Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Required Education and Work Experience

• Must have valid Missouri driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
