AoPS Academy is a program of Art of Problem Solving (AoPS), a global leader in K–12 advanced education. The AoPS Academy in Lexington, MA is hiring part-time Math Teaching Assistants (TAs)with strong math skills to support our campus during the summer. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to work with motivated younger students and contribute to the AoPS Academy community.
This is a part-time, IN-PERSON position for a Friday afternoon class beginning at 4PM.
Our TAs contribute greatly to the success of our students and are an integral part of our Academy family. This may be a great fit for you if you enjoy interacting with students, guiding them as they work through challenging math problems, and helping them feel more confident about math concepts.
TAs support AoPS instructors in the classroom to help keep students engaged and on task. They work with students during class to help them understand the material by asking/answering questions and providing feedback on assignments.
