Weekly Hours: 28.00

Salary Range: $29.50 - $44.50

This role is within our fast-paced Southwest Children’s Clinic, where our RNs focus on triaging calls and messages. You’ll have the opportunity to work between 40 and 72 hours per pay period, with no scheduled weekends or major holidays, as the clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Job Responsibilities

• Answer patient inquiries over the phone, assessing symptoms and medical needs using triage algorithms.
• Guide patients to the appropriate level of care and schedule appointments with healthcare providers.
• Document patient information and health conditions in health record systems for follow-up care.
• Maintain and develop triage protocols, ensuring timely updates of patients’ healthcare information.
• Educate patients based on incoming calls using various technologies.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred (AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• One year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Must hold an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Complete all licensing requirements within the first 30 days of employment.
• Maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
