Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) , you will provide professional nursing care for patients of all ages. Your role will involve:

• Functioning in a structured care setting while adhering to Sanford's policies and procedures.
• Collaborating with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Demonstrating knowledge of nursing principles and performing assessments to identify each patient’s needs.
• Understanding medications and their effects on patients.
• Operating within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A graduation certificate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• An unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the State Nursing Board or multi-state licensure privileges.
• Completion of required competencies and certifications, including annual continuing education units (CEUs).
• If applicable, IV therapy/management skills as per North Dakota requirements.
