Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Production Assistant to join their team. As a Production Assistant, you will be part of the production department supporting various operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Production Assistant

Location: Madison, WI

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour

What's the Job?

• Examine specifications of customer orders using drawings or blueprints to determine the characteristics of the finished item, materials to be used, and machine setup requirements.
• Pull, cut, bend, and weld rebar assemblies to sizes specified in Engineering Prints in support of production schedules.
• Stage rebar material handling skids and storage racks to support production activities.
• Assist rebar benders in placing, lifting, and positioning metal bars for bending operations.
• Maintain the condition of the work area, ensuring it is free of trash and that products are in the correct location.

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required; a willingness to learn and grow is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to following safety policies and procedures.
