RIDGEVIEW , a not-for-profit community mental health center, is excited about several bachelor's degree level openings. All positions are weekdays with regular business hours, no overnights or weekends.

  • Mobile Health Clinic (MHC)/ Care Coordinator : Our Mobile Health Clinic, an innovative team-based program that provides integrated primary care and behavioral health services to rural locations, is seeking a Care Coordinator to serve as a key component of providing those services by linking clients with community resources and following up to ensure they access the resources. Oak Ridge, TN base location
  • Substance Use Disorder Program/ Recover Specialist : This position provides wrap around services to program members on an outpatient basis including the provision of educational groups in concert with a therapist and attending drug court. Oneida, TN base location
  • Rural Fatherhood Program/ Program Coach : This brand new program is being launched to equip fathers with on-the-ground tools, guidance, and the support they need to be effective parents. Coaches will be responsible for conducting an evidence-based fatherhood parenting program, peer support groups, and linkage to wrap around services under the guidance of a master's level therapist. Jamestown/Oneida base location
  • Project BASIC/ Child Development Specialist: Project BASIC targets children in kindergarten through third grade. The Specialist will provide social-emotional learning groups for children and training for teachers and families in Morgan County Schools. This is a school-year only position. Wartburg, TN base location
  • Part-Time ReEntry Program/ Research Associate: The Research Associate is a flexible 20 hour/week position that is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of followup and administrative interviewing duties for the ReEntry program. This program provides a unique social services continuum to clients following incarceration as they re-enter community living. Oak Ridge, TN base location
  • Part-Time Respite Rocks!/ Children's Respite Specialist: The Respite Specialist is a flexible 20 hour/week position that provides immediate respite for families, assistance in the identification of long term solutions, and and training of caregivers in behavior management skills. The program is geared to supporting families of children with a serious emotional disturbance, autism, and serious behavior disorders to maintain the family structure and prevent placement of children outside the home. Oak Ridge, TN base location

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in the social sciences or a mental health field (e.g. counseling, psychology, social work, vocational rehabilitation) or Bachelor's degree transcript including 15+ credit hours of related courses
  • Prefer experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, but new grads are encouraged to apply
  • Must maintain a valid TN driver's license and a safe driving record
  • The position requires a self-starter with excellent time management skills


JOB DUTIES

Care coordination is a process for directing and coordinating services to consumers of mental health services. The Care Coordinator works directly with youth and/or adult clients, their families, and community resources both in and out of Ridgeview to secure necessary services to meet client needs.
