POSITION SUMMARY 

The Quality Training Coordinator (QTC) is responsible for supporting the work of Surgenex’s quality systems with direct oversight of the training management. Detail-oriented and well organized to support the planning, implementation and delivery of training programs. This includes creating and maintaining training profiles and records within the quality management system (QMS) and/or learning management system (LMS). Creating, organizing and managing training content including but not limited to, training videos, PowerPoints, tests, didactic trainings, and annual trainings. The QTC will assist and facilitate in collaboration with key stakeholders, defining, framing and structure development of the organizational and departmental training strategies.

Assists with ensuring compliance to state, federal, local, international, and accrediting agency regulations, and standards as well as Surgenex procedures. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting the Director of Quality Systems with the execution of the training system, ensuring all events, trainings and reviews are implemented.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining training profiles and records within the approved QMS and LMS systems.
  • Responsible for supporting the improvement, growth and management of the training system.
  • Ensuring all training materials are up-to-date and accurate, continuously reviewing materials with subject matter experts.
  • Collaboration with leadership groups to develop didactic training programs with annual competency reviews.
  • Collaboration with leadership groups to develop and maintain training materials including but not limited to: Tests, Videos, PowerPoints, Visual Aids and focused department trainings.
  • Responsible for coordinating various training activities, ensuring that all employees receive high-quality training experiences to enhance skills and performance.
  • Act as primary point of contact for trainees and training, handling feedback during and after training to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Foster smooth current-to-future state change transitions for all stakeholders with focused strategies to achieve optimal outcomes. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
