Description Robert Half Legal is partnering with a highly regarded boutique litigation firm based in Century City to identify a California-barred Litigation Attorney for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This is a fully remote role, ideal for talented professionals seeking to contribute their expertise in defense and business litigation matters. Key Responsibilities + Represent clients in diverse business litigation and defense matters, including case preparation, discovery, depositions, and motion practice. + Handle legal research, draft pleadings, briefs, and motions for state and federal court proceedings. + Work closely with partners and associates to develop litigation strategy and ensure the best outcomes for clients. + Advise clients, provide legal analysis, and manage matters independently with strong communication and client management skills. + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of California law as it applies to business litigation and related practice areas. Requirements Qualifications + Active membership in the California State Bar (required). + Minimum of 2 years' experience in business litigation and/or defense litigation. + Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. + Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively while working autonomously in a remote environment. + Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with attorneys and staff remotely.
