Job Description

Since 1979, Engineering Services and Products Company (ESAPCO) has grown from a regional, two-person office to the industry-leading manufacturer of fabric structures, metal structures and greenhouses with over 30,000 products distributed through direct marketing, three online stores and two lead-generation websites. We are seeking a motivated and detailed oriented Sales Assistant to join our growing team and support our talent acquisition efforts.

The Sales Assistant will support both the sales and recruitment process. This role involves close collaboration with the Sales and Management Team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Gain proficiency in Epicor ERP System and HubSpot CRM System to manage and create customer data, tracking sales opportunities and maintain accurate records.
  • Support the Sales Team and Managers by providing cost and pricing.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales reports and provide insights (cancelled orders).
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any sale concerns.
  • Source potential candidates through various platforms and online tools.
  • Building and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Partner with sales management team to understand web leads and staffing requirements.
  • Maintain strong communication to support both sales initiatives and recruiting efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Minimum of associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred, (or equivalent from two-year college or technical school) or 1-2 years of experience in sales recruiting, sales, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to author routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of applicant tracking systems, resume databases, Microsoft Office Suites, and the ability to type at a minimum of 30 wpm. Experience using Paycom is a plus.
