What you’ll do at Sol: 

  • Guide and coach the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services to our clients 
  • Recognize areas of strength and improvement within the Scrum Team; use appropriate coaching/development techniques to ensure team performance 
  • Manage risks to delivery by raising and resolving team impediments as they arise 
  • Facilitate and support all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective 
  • Create and maintain the necessary tools for open communication with the Scrum Team (e.g., dashboards, tracker boards, etc.). 
  • Track and report team progress using Agile metrics (capacity, burndown, velocity charts, etc.) 
  • Act as a champion of Agile practices within our client organizations 

What we’re looking for: 

  • 5+ years of experience in one or more Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, TDD, CI)  
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or another related field 
  • Expertise as an Agile trainer/educator 
  • Proficient in refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospective, and other Scrum techniques 
  • JIRA experience, ideally as an administrator 
  • Experience leading distributed/virtual teams 
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
