Insight Global is looking for a Network Engineer to be located in the Colorado Springs area. The day-to-day responsibilities involve engineering new network capabilities while maintaining existing environments, utilizing various vendor technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto. The role includes producing system, logical, and connectivity designs, conducting network testing, and implementing configuration changes. The network engineer will maintain expertise in network hardware and software, working with routers, switches, firewalls, and gateways, and will ensure quality by reviewing engineering work products for compliance. Additionally, the engineer will evaluate and integrate new communication technologies to enhance network capabilities, with occasional travel required to support both local and remote sites.

Skills and Requirements
Advanced degree with 3+ years of experience, bachelor's with 5+ years, or equivalent experience in network engineering.
Hands-on experience with design, implementation, and troubleshooting of networking equipment, including Cisco Nexus/Catalyst switches, Juniper routers, and Fortinet or Palo Alto firewalls.
Proficiency in networking protocols and concepts such as spanning tree, trunking, BGP, OSPF, first hop redundancy protocols, IP subnetting, and VxLAN.
Experience with WANs, encryption devices, multicast, and network analysis tools like Wireshark.
Familiarity with DoD networks (e.g., SIPRNet, MDACNet) and related security protocols.
Active DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (Security+ or equivalent) with Continuing Education.
Active SECRET clearance required, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA, or Cisco CCNA/CCNP preferred.
