Position: Remote Social Media Intern (15 hours/week)
Fall/Winter Semester: September - January

We value resourcefulness, creativity, and dedication, and we're looking for an enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join us for the Fall/Winter semester (September - January).
What You'll Be Doing:
This is not your typical internship. You'll be fully integrated into the team and have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of public relations, social media management, and content creation. As an intern, you'll help execute strategies and projects that will make a real impact for our clients. Your role will be hands-on, with responsibilities that help you build a strong foundation for a career in PR and social media marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Content Management:
Support the team in developing and executing social media strategies across multiple platforms.
Assist in building weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote client brands effectively.
Ensure consistent messaging and voice across platforms.
Content Creation:
Create engaging content such as gifs, infographics, photos, and short videos (Reels, TikToks).
Assist in the creative process by designing graphics and editing video content.
Write compelling social media captions that speak to target audiences.
Participate in photo and video shoots.
Community Engagement:
Monitor and engage with social media followers, responding to comments and direct messages.
Track and analyze social media engagement to identify trends and insights.
Help identify user-generated content (UGC) and engage with followers.
Creative Brainstorming & Ideation:
Contribute ideas for new social media campaigns and creative content.
Conduct social media research to identify trends and competitive strategies.
Help brainstorm and suggest new approaches for increasing social media engagement.
Link Management:
Compile product links for social media posts and coordinate with partners for attribution links.
Manage and update social media bio links to ensure accuracy.
Who We're Looking For:
A rising sophomore, junior, or senior in college with a passion for social media and content creation.
Previous internship experience in social media marketing is a plus.
A minimum GPA of 3.0.
Ability to commit to 15 hours per week during standard office hours (8 AM - 5 PM in your time zone).
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Strong familiarity with social media platforms and trends.
A proactive and resourceful attitude with great attention to detail.
Highly organized with a professional demeanor and a desire to learn.
Additional Information:
College Credit: Prior to applying, please verify with your College/University Career Center if you're eligible for internship credits (though receiving credits is not a requirement).
Reimbursement: If selected, you will receive a $250 monthly reimbursement for using your personal phone, computer, and internet at home.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 16.00 20.00 Per Hour
