Job Description
Position Summary: The Valet Attendant will be the point of contact for all guest interactions on the front drive that may include questions regarding the arrival, departure, group transportation, driving directions or any services that our guests may request. Valet Attendants must display courtesy, safety and efficiency in each interaction.
Qualifications: - High School Diploma, or equivalent GED required; college degree strongly preferred.
- Clean driving record with a valid licenses
- Team-oriented mentality, with ability to work independently.
- Must be responsible and detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Expectations & Responsibilities: - Ability to multi-task; be team orientated and can resolve challenges that may arise.
- Offer quick retrieval of guests and patron's automobiles.
- Ability to coordinate and work with Door Attendants to ensure smooth operation of the porte-cochere.
- Valet attendant possesses an extensive/intimate knowledge of the hotel operational policies and procedures, as guests will require a vast array of resort services and information.
- Above all, we are looking for a person who appreciates the opportunity to be of service.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Essential Physical Requirements: - Must be able to lift and carry a minimum weight of 20 lbs. across a short-medium distance.
- Must be able to work in an outdoor environment with a wide variety of seasonal temperatures.
- Must be able to stand for long periods on your feet, offer quick retrieval of guests and patrons’ automobiles.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, intense work environment, sometimes under extreme heat and stress, and must be able to remain calm.
- Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements
